I’ve always been fascinated with every step of the creative process. The detail that goes into the planning and execution of film, music, and sound design. Why just shoot the video when you can write the script, edit the footage, and compose the score? Over my 20 year career I’ve been lucky to do it all.

The passion was born and the skills were forged during my years being in a rock band. Back then we had to do it all ourselves, so I invested in recording gear, camera gear, software, and just figured it out. That momentum led me to Citrus College, where I polished my skills enrolling in their Recording Technology program, graduating at the very top of my class. With the trust of my fellow band mates, we produced our own records and shot our own music videos. The hard work led to us getting signed to a record label, putting out a few albums, and touring the world.

As the touring years came to an end, my polished skill set led me into a career in sound design. I got hired by Mattel in 2016 as part of their Sound Design Studio where I worked hand in hand with iconic brands such as Barbie and Hot Wheels creating sounds for toys, and composing music to support those brands on TV and Web. My biggest milestone came in 2021 with the release of “Smash Hits: The Music of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks” which was Hot Wheels’ first ever musical release, produced by me. The album consisted of 13 original theme songs for the Monster Trucks featured in Hot Wheels Monster Trucks LIVE, as well as music inspired by the show. This incredible partnership with Hot Wheels led to the brand trusting me with writing and producing the anthem for Hot Wheels Skate called “Drop in to Hot Wheels”.

I’ve always kept busy on the side, working as a freelance videographer, video editor, podcast editor, audio mixer, and musician. While I no longer tour the country, you can still catch me rocking out on stage and having fun in cover bands as well as friends bands. My wife Jessica and I enjoy our nice quiet life in the Packing District of Anaheim CA, where you can find us brewery hopping, partying at Disneyland, or snuggled at home with our two cats Binxy and Boo.
